About Craig Davidson

I set up North East Health and Safety because I was tired of seeing small businesses either ignored by large consultancies or sold generic documentation that didn’t reflect what they actually do.

I hold Level 6 Diploma in Applied Health and Safety, NEBOSH Construction & General Certificates, and Fire Safety & Risk Management Certificate.  I have 12 years of experience across high-hazard petrochemical, construction, infrastructure, mining and offshore environments.

I’m based in Jarrow and work across Tyne and Wear, County Durham, Teesside and Northumberland. For documentation-only work, I also work remotely with businesses anywhere in the UK.

When I take on a job, I do the work myself. You won’t be passed to a junior or a subcontractor. If something needs explaining, I explain it plainly. If something isn’t proportionate for your level of risk, I’ll tell you that too.

Who we work with

Most of our clients are North East businesses with between 10 and 150 employees. They’re typically:

• Owner-managed businesses who handle their own admin and don’t have an in-house H&S resource
• Growing businesses whose H&S documentation hasn’t kept pace with the business
• Contractors who need compliant documentation for client pre-qualification or tender
• Businesses that have had an incident or inspection and need to get their house in order quickly
